Yes! Phound is available for download on both mobile and desktop devices. Visit Phound.app to access all download options.
Does Phound replace Streamyard?
No, Streamyard currently has a handful of features that Phound does not.
Can you stream to Facebook or YouTube?
Not yet, but it is on our roadmap.
Can I join a meeting on Phound without downloading an app?

Phone Numbers & Calling
What phone number should I use to sign up?
To create a free account, sign up with your mobile number or link your Google/Apple account. You can also purchase a Phound number for additional features.
Can I send SMS messages without a Phound number?

Can I port my existing number into Phound?
Yes! You can port in your existing phone number to Phound for seamless communication.
How do I get a vanity phone number?
After upgrading, you will be prompted to select a number. If you are not prompted to do so, go to your profile, select "Numbers,” and click "Add a New Number." Enter the desired country and filter for a number you like.
Contacts & Persona Management
Can I sync Phound with my calendar?

Can I import contacts from a file?

How does Persona Management work?
Phound lets you create distinct communication profiles (professional, personal, public) so you control how and when different contacts can reach you.
Can my assistant log into my Phound account?
Yes, you can be logged in on multiple devices.

Which countries is Phound available in?
Phound is available for sign-up in all countries where phone number verification is possible or where Google/Apple login is supported.
Meetings & Messaging
What is a meeting on Phound?

What are the limitations for non-Phound users in meetings?
Non-Phound users can join as guests via a meeting link but will not have access to the meeting chat after the session ends and cannot record meetings.
Can I record meetings on Phound?
Yes, meetings can be recorded. After a meeting ends, a recording link will be available in the chat. Currently, downloads are not supported.
Can I have a co-host in a meeting?
Yes, you can assign a co-host. While in a meeting, click "Attendees," then the three dots next to the name of the person you’d like to make a co-host.
How do I switch between devices during a meeting?
When opening the Phound app on a different device while in a meeting, you can click the “Connect” button to seamlessly transfer your call between devices.
How do I get back into a meeting if I get disconnected?
There are two ways to re-enter a meeting: click the meeting link in the calendar invite or search for the host within the app and click the “Meet” button.
Privacy & Security
Is my phone number safe with Phound?
Absolutely. Your phone number is securely stored for authentication purposes only and is never shared or sold without your explicit consent.
How do I protect my number from spam?
Navigate to your profile screen by clicking the profile icon (on the left for desktop, on the bottom for mobile). Scroll down to "Personas" and select the persona you’d like to manage. Now scroll down to "Privacy and Visibility" to customize your settings.
What happens if my phone is lost or stolen?
If your phone is lost or stolen, contact Phound Support immediately. We can temporarily disable authentication and assist with updating your security settings.
Can someone else use my phone number to access my account?
Your account remains secure as the authentication code sent to your phone is unique and changes with each login attempt. Without access to your SMS, unauthorized users can't gain access.
How does Phound’s identity verification work?
Phound uses government-backed identity verification to authenticate users, ensuring every call and message originates from a trusted source.
What if I don’t receive the authentication code?
If you haven't received the code, double-check your phone number for accuracy. If issues persist, you can request a new code via SMS or call.
